Happy 4th of July

Stay safe and sane over the weekend!

I had the opportunity to check out the new wine bar at the Port of Ilwaco the other night. The name is Raven and Finch and it is a delightful setting. The wine was great, the prices right. The only drawback was the cigar smokers on the deck. I was looking forward to enjoying the view of the port and sipping my wine with friends, but it wasn’t to be. Even inside, the cigar smell was unpleasant. Guess I won’t be spending a lot of time there this summer.

My friend, Natalie Danielson, has a great blog site and her May 5 post on the real estate market is interesting reading. Entitled “Housing Market up or down? hmmmm”, it sheds a bit of light on the “facts” that sway our own opinions. Read it here.

NEW LISTINGS SINCE JUNE 27:
SOLD LISTINGS SINCE JUNE 27:

June wasn’t a fantastic month for closed sales, but the number of people visiting and looking and properties definitely picked up.  That means more closings in July.  There were 19 residential sales, 3 condos, and 3 vacant land.
