Hello everyone and welcome to another wonderful weekend at the beach! Yes, it’s SandSations and Rodeo weekend, so of course it’s raining! What else would you expect?
The reason this is a day late is that I had the opportunity to see James Taylor in concert Thursday night. Has anyone else been to the Clark County Amphitheater? What a great place! And the concert was wonderful. I’m sure there are a few of you out there that remember Sweet Baby James.
Beach Happenings:
Remember, if you’re going through Skamokawa, stop and see the Fiber Arts Exhibit at Redmen Hall. They’re open Thursday through Sunday afternoons and our show will be there until August 10.
Saturday Market at the Port of Ilwaco runs through September 27.
LB Summerfest is in full swing every Saturday and Sunday
Lots of things coming up in August:
Buoy 10 fishing will be announced
August 9 – Waikiki Beach Concert Series
August 9 – Jake the Alligator Man’s Birthday
August 14 – Art Walk in Ilwaco
August 16 and 17 – Blues and Seafood in Ilwaco and Jazz & Oysters in Oysterville
And of course, August 18-24 is Washington State International Kite Festival
There’s always plenty to see and do here at the beach. If nothing else, you can look for your own beach place! Charlie and I are happy to help. Available right now are mean high tide properties, western upland boundary properties (both homes and vacant land), ocean view, lake view, lake front, camping lots, businesses, you name it. If you’re thinking of a move to the beach whether for vacation, snow-bird, full-time or retirement living, we’re here to help you and remember, “we’re looking out for you”!
Here are links to the last week’s worth of new listings and sold properties. As always, call or email if you have questions. These links are good for 30 days.
That’s it for this week. Have a great one and remember, I’d love to see your comments!
