GREAT NEWS!! Clients who qualify for the First -Time Homebuyer Tax Credit can get their tax credit right away. The initial funds for closing can come from a gift from a blood relative but NOW as soon as the purchase is complete they can file an amended 2008 return to claim their credit rather than wait until next January.
