We first visited friends in Seaview, and knew this was where we wanted to retire. I think we Googled Long Beach Peninsula Real Estate and somehow found Funbeach.com, which was just what we needed. All the Realtors were listed and we just browsed until we came upon Discovery Heights. We initially thought that was where we wanted to buy, but they were too early in their development, so we went to Dennis Oman Realty. Bill called the office and Pam answered. He told her what we were looking for and she sent some information. We came out from Colorado, toured homes for sale and finally decided on a lot.

Funbeach.com played a huge part in our coming here, as we could log in, see the weather, check out the web cams, and check out all the events.

We first used John L Scott's website (for shame) because we were not that familiar with the area to do a city/town search. It enabled us to click on a map then zoom in, which was incredibly helpful. Then I put the parameters in of what we wanted. I find Google and Yahoo have to many ads attached to get what I need.
We found Charlie by using funbeach.com. What attracted me is the personal touches about yourselves that were included in the website. I have worked with realtors in the past that truly focus on the sale....not the needs of the individual. For myself, this was key.
