Seaview

Seaview

Seaview, originally called Overview and then North Pacific Beach, was established in 1881 by Jonathon L. Stout and his wife Anne Elizabeth Gearhart. It was a location for wealthy Portlanders looking for a summer vacation place for their families.  The Shelburne Inn ,  erected in 1896 is the oldest continually operating hotel in the state of Washington.   Step in to take a look back in time.

Seaview is located between between Ilwaco and Long Beach but has a character very distinct from its two neighbors.  It is, most would agree, one of the Peninsula’s most ‘classy’ villages.

Homes in this area are charming and unique.  Many have backyards that stretch to the dunes.  Others are quaint and unforgetable.  A very sought after location to live.  You will find the Seaview approach to the beach, a friendly market and veterinarian.   Home to many wonderful restaurants, a florist, antique stores and hospitable neighbors.  If you are looking for more information on the Peninsula, Seaview is also the home of the Long Beach Visitors Bureau.
