I drove to Portland to take possession of Charlie’s “Porsche”.  The cutest boxer pup you could imagine, but this Porsche seems to have a water leak!

Porsche meets a few of the household cats. They weren’t sure what she was. Knew she wasn’t a cat so no competition there, but not a dog either so they weren’t scared of her. Gabbie, Julie & Frank seemed the most unconcerned about the whole affair and were even interested in playing. Of course, her food was a real show stopper!

Thursday, June 9 was the wonderful Art Walk at the Port of Ilwaco.  Porsche walked on her leash almost all the way from home to the Port.  After that, her feet hardly touched the ground because everyone wanted to cuddle her!  By the time we ended the evening at Raven & Finch, she was plumb tuckered out.

So, what will it take…

Cats In Our Lives, Everything!, Real Estate | Posted by Cheri Diehl

to get buyers off their keesters and start buying property?  First time homebuyers can qualify for a number of great deals, including a tax break:   http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=204672,00.html.  How about the new FHA mortgage amounts?  Want to see how much your county allows?  https://entp.hud.gov/idapp/html/hicostlook.cfm Thanks to Steve Valenta and Dave Kilkenny of Alpine Mortgage for this info.

Saturday night was Rotary’s Oysters and Art – what great food! Rotary works hard and really devotes a lot of time to their projects.  I’m glad I was able to attend, even though I didn’t manage to score anything at the silent auction.

A couple of things coming up at the beach:

The Inn at Harbour Village is hosting a free concert on Friday.  Friday March 13th.
7.30 pm start

Cap’n Matt was the fabulous entertainer at the dinner put on for the crews of the Tall Ships last summer at the Ilwaco Museum.

And then…Saturday March 14 at 7:30pm.  Admission – Donation to charity.  For info & reservations phone (360)-642-2542  A triple celebration at the Historic Sou’Wester Lodge.   “ST. PATRICK’S DAY FOR THE CHRONOLOGICALLY CHALLENGED”- “PI DAY” & “EINSTEIN’S BIRTHDAY” featuring The Whateverly Brothers

If you’re wondering what the weather will be like, I can’t help you.  Today we’ve had snow, hail, rain, wind and sunshine.  Take your chances and come to the beach!  That’s all for today – not bad for a Monday!
