It’s almost spring – just look outside and you can tell!  Are you thinking of selling your home?  There are a lot of things you can be doing right now so you’re ready to go.  Read the article here and then re-read paragraph 4.  Then you call me and we can discuss what it’s going to take for you to compete in this unique market at the beach.

img_3706Since I’m busy putting my site back together, lots of my cute cat photos have disappeared.  But I couldn’t resist sneaking this one in.  This is Julie asleep in the “condo”.

USING A REVERSE MORTGAGE FOR A HOME PURCHASE?!

Here’s a site with answers to a lot of questions.  HUD It’s an interesting concept and I’d love to find someone out there who wants to be my “test case”.  Any takers?

I have a few rental properties to tell you about:

1 bedroom, furnished or not, Ocean Park on the bus line.  $500/month

2 bedroom, 1-3/4 bath condo in downtown Long Beach, $975/month, furnished.  (also for sale at $219,000)

Restaurant, turn-key.  Port of Ilwaco (The Port Bistro). $2500/month

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!  Can you believe it’s the end of October?  And the weather has been more than kind to us.  Remember to set your clocks back an hour Saturday night.  Finally get to make up for that lost hour way back in the Spring.

Won’t you be glad when the election is over?  No more ads, negative or otherwise.  No matter who wins, it could be good news for real estate.  Election years are often hard on sellers.  Now, if we can just get that pesky stock market to cooperate!

Been an exciting week so far.  Tuesday night was the fantastic Friends of Chinook School fundraiser.  Since my friend, Nan, does such a great job blogging about it, I’m not going to try and duplicate it.  You will find a picture of me and Charlie if you visit her blog:  SEAVIEWWA. She also has the info you need about tonight’s progressive Halloween party at the Depot and Shelburne. I’ll be there for sure!

BEACH HAPPENINGS: Bullshot Crummond continues this weekend! I had the pleasure of front row center last week. Hard to describe, but I laughed a whole lot! Put on by our fabulous Peninsula Players, you won’t want to miss this one.

MUSIC in Ilwaco at Raven and Finch.

CLAMMING, WILD MUSHROOMS, OCIAN IN VIEW, CRIBBAGE – It’s going to be quite a month leading up to Thanksgiving. Come to the beach and enjoy. For more info on these and more activities, visit the great site of FUNBEACH.

Looking for a boat? Have a cabin or property at the beach you’d like to trade? Chris has a 1988 42′ tri-cabin Trawler, value is $100k. I have lots of photos if you’re interested!

October wasn’t the hottest month for real estate sales here at the beach.  Six residential and five vacant land sales for the entire month.  These links are where you can find listings and sales since my last post.  If you’re ever curious about any of them, let me know.  The map is the link to off-peninsula properties.  The links are good for 30 days.

Just a reminder that I have access to all properties in our area. Ocean front, bay front, view, little bitty lots, acreage, commercial, residential, you name it! See a sign? Call me for more info! I hope that this blog and the pages you’ll find on it are helpful to you. If so, let me know. Share with a friend.
