My real estate career began in 1994 right here at the beach. I've seen the market go up and down and then down more! It takes knowledge, honesty and hard work to keep a real estate business running. We are investing in the future of this area and hope you will too!
I consider myself a real estate facilitator, because I neither buy, nor sell, real estate. I just make sure those buyers and sellers get together, make the deal and sign the proper papers. I'll find time to meet your real estate needs or show you properties here on the Discovery Coast.
In my experience, business success comes with several very important ingredients: great service, communication, attention to detail, ethics and a big dash of FUN! My goal is "To help connect people with their dreams."
With my diverse business background and Real Estate training, I offer uncompromising loyalty and duty to my customers. If you plan on buying or selling on the Long Beach Peninsula, it would be a pleasure and an honor to work for you.
In June of 2018 we happened to wander into Discovery Coast Realty to make initial inquiries about selling our beach cottage or the feasibility of a possible Air B & B in Seaview, Washington. We happened upon Sara Zaga who spent close to an hour answering our questions, explaining local restrictions and ordinances.
Fast forward to early 2019 when my husband and I decided to sell our family beach cottage which has been in the family for 91 years. This was an emotional and difficult decision for our family.
We returned to Ms. Zaga because of her generous and welcoming nature. Sara began by offering her expertise and invaluable suggestions regarding preemptory steps to begin the selling process. This included a home inspection, a very thorough initial market analysis, gathering necessary information and/or documents, and other practical advice that in hindsight was invaluable.
Sara walked us through the procedures of readying our cottage for sale. She corresponded diligently and promptly. We never had to wait for replies. Sara always inquired about our choices and our thinking and feelings behind them. She then thoughtfully offered her advice based on her experience and the market.
When it became time to list, I became exceptionally emotional as I recalled my 50 years of enjoying this family vacation home with our children, family and friends. Sara was compassionate, patient and kind not only in her response to me but also understanding and gentle allowing us to grieve about selling.
Sara is a professional and competent broker, ethical, and hard working. In our opinion, she has a sterling character of honesty and devotion to her work. Her communication skills are exemplarily. If she was unsure about a process she was forthright and told us how she would go about finding the answer. Her being one step ahead added additional comfort, reinforcing for us, her professionalism and thoroughness. Sara advised about the pros and cons of each offer often explaining real estate law, terminology and the current market trends on the peninsula. She explained them in a compelling and genuine manner often offering information with personal anecdotal insights that helped us personalize our journey of selling our home. We had a solid offer in 2 weeks time!
We cannot imagine this emotionally intimate journey of selling a nearly 100 year old family home that my husband’s grandfather built without Sara. We are thankful and grateful that we walked into her office on that summer day in June. We think the world of her!
